Hello Infamous New York. I’m trying to get some information on an uncle who supposedly was in “Al Capone’s gang” in NY and was jailed for being part of “…the largest jewel heist in the history of NY…” at that time. Great job! I found this site inquiring info about Bobbie Winthrop, lover of Arnold Rothstein. I’m about finishing the book, the Big Bankroll by Leo Katcher. Rothstein was quite a guy. He’s my favorite of all the underworld figues of the City. Keep up the good work.

Great site! I have a sculpture in my home that was reportedly once owned by Arnold Rothstein. Before I put it up for auction, I’m trying to find interior photos of his home and office. Any suggestions? It makes perfect sense to me that he probably owned it at one time, but I am attempting to document it further than the letter I possess from the art dealer who claims it was once his.
